WHat is arth-hours?

Arth-Hours is a Holistic Learning Program aimed at nurturing the wholesomeness that lies within all children. Arth-Hours is aimed at nurturing a child’s entire being - their Head (Cognition), Heart (Emotion), and Hands (Skills).

What makes arth-hours so essential for all children?

All Children are born deeply curious with an unsurmountable desire to explore and interact with the world around them to gather knowledge. They are born with the necessary intelligence and skill to process their experiences and form coherent ideas about the world. They are born with an indomitable sense of grit and resilience which allows them to persevere over and over and over until they succeed, without the slightest loss of enthusiasm. They are the perfect learning machines. They are born whole and they are born complete. At arth, we have designed an integrated learning program that brings together the latest research in cognitive neuroscience, cutting-edge experiential learning pedagogies, a holistic curriculum and the most loving learning community on the planet to nurture this wholesomeness in an environment overflowing with love, joy and a sense of responsibility.

Learning Outcomes

At arth, your child will become a Strong Communicator, will develop a Mathematical Mindset, develop the Spirit of Scientific Inquiry, develop Curiosity, Creativity, Resilience, Emotional Agility, Executive Function Skills (CEO Skills) and Metacognition. They will also learn how to collaborate, lead and follow. They will develop all the skills that are necessary to become Self-Learners. Most importantly, they will fall in love with learning. So, in summary, your children will come into our space as your children and truly become arthlings.

They greatest gift we can give to children is to help them find true joy in learning. If we can make them fall in love with learning again, our job is done. That is our highest goal at arth.

Arth’s Integrated Learning Program

As we dive deeper, the question becomes, how will these goals be achieved?  Essentially, In an Integrated Learning Environment during Arth-Hours, children learn almost all subjects they study in school and so much more. The key academic areas that we focus on in the classroom are:

How is it done? The educators at arth collaborate individually with parents and children to determine their developmental and learning needs. We then tailor a learning journey to enable them to reach their true potential. Each classroom is equipped with all resources to help children develop holistically and to nurture their multiple intelligences, be it nourishing the artist within them or the engineer.

How do Arthlings Learn?

This is the million-dollar question! How does learning/teaching look like in our classroom? We employ Innovative Teaching Methods in a joyful, playful, loving, and encouraging learning environment and facilitate learning through embodied, arts-based and experiential learning pedagogies.
